Graeme is a member of the sales team at Harcourts Westgate and is a licensed residential sales consultant.
Over the last 30 years Graeme has been involved in the management and marketing of various businesses in New Zealand.
Graeme started as an Account Manager in 1975 for Arthur Ellis & Co. before being appointed to the position of Sales & Marketing Manager for an upholstery manufacturer. Here, amongst other successful marketing activities, he was part of the team that produced and planned a television advertising campaign, with stunning results, boosting unit sales by almost 600 units.
After some 4 years Graeme decided to set up a successful company in the manufacture of lounge suites, which entailed design, planning and manufacturing. In 1986 he joined the AMP Society as an advisor on investment, insurance and superannuation. After the experience in the insurance and finance market, Graeme saw an opportunity to start one of the early mortgage brokerages dealing with most of the lending institutions.
For the past 18 years Graeme has been coaching and consulting with the business to assist them to perform at higher levels of efficiency and improving cash flow and profitability. This in turn helped to make the business easier to manage and to maintain its level of competitiveness.
Graeme has a keen interest in most sports, and currently enjoys golf at the age group level. He says Golf has a tremendous challenge to it, in being able to improve, even at this stage in life. “I have enjoyed success and compare this with many other parts of life.”
